Canberra wine day out

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve teamed up with Plonk to host Canberra Wine Day Out at the Fyshwick Markets on Sunday 8 February, from 12pm–3pm.

This exciting event will showcase wineries from the Canberra region, with 12 stalls set up throughout the Markets, offering free tastings for guests aged 18+. If you discover a wine you love, you can purchase it directly from Plonk on the day.

We are also partnering with Deli Planet, who will be offering cheese and charcuterie platters available for pre-purchase — the perfect pairing while you sip and wander (details below).

Tickets to Canberra Wine Day Out are free (registrations are essential).

For those wanting something to nibble on, Deli Planet platters are available for pre-purchase for $25 and include a selection of:

  • Barbers cheddar

  • Hommus

  • Mild salami

  • Marinated mixed olives

  • Crackers

Guests who have pre-purchased a charcuterie platter are asked to present their ticket at Deli Planet upon arrival to collect their platter. Please note: all items listed are gluten free; however, there may be traces of nuts.

Free parking is available at the Markets:

  • Option 1: Ground-level parking within the Markets (entry via Mildura Street)

  • Option 2: Level 1 parking above the Markets (entry via Dalby Street; no disabled access)

  • Option 3: Ground-level parking beside the Markets (entry via Dalby Street)
